I figured this out.
I let procmail create the directories on demand--and since .Professional.SecurityFocus was an empty directory, instead of having all the right folders inside of it (like cur, new, etc), it caused a burpage.
I deleted the directory & recreated it with maildirmake:
maildirmake -f Professional.SecurityFocus ~/Maildir
That fixed it.
