Absolutely there's problems with attachments... We see them here with
PDFs. If clicking on the PDF attachment, I get a blank screen. If
selecting download and then opening or saving and opening, there's no
problems with it.
No, and it's not the IE acrobat reader plugin. I can open the same PDF
from a local web site via the Acrobat plugin. I get the same issue when
opening the attahcments from SM when using Netscape (4.x or 7.x). But
no problems when using Netscape's mail client to open the attachments.
This has been reported as a bug before, though I don't think it has been
addressed yet...
