1. I think, maildir quotas are updated during next delivery. If nothing
changes in your mailbox, your imap server sees older quotas.
2. open plugins/quota_usage/setup.php
find lines that say
----
$squirrelmail_plugin_hooks["left_main_before"]["quota_usage"] =
"display_quota_usage_left";
----
change them to
----
$squirrelmail_plugin_hooks["left_main_after"]["quota_usage"] =
"display_quota_usage_left";
----
check if it does what you want. read doc/plugins.txt
