How can we unhabilitate the autocomplete function for IE6 SP1 on "login.php"? We installed the password forget plugin and it works for Mozilla but not for IE6 SP1.
Any idea of how to modify "login.php" to do so?
password_forget *does* work with IE. you are probably viewing a cached version of that page(?)
From the vague description, I'd say it's more likely that when he starts to type the username, it provides a drop down to auto-complete the username. This is often related to the option you often get prompted for when you fill in password boxes to remember the user/pass combination on that site. There used to be an option under Tools | Internet Options | Advanced for forgetting the password, but they have this wonderful habit of changing the name of options between versions.
yeah, this is exactly what I thought he meant. and my vague reply meant that password_forget disables that functionality for BOTH the password AND the username (actually, it tricks it), so there is no need to turn it off in the browser.

I don't know the password_forget function or where it is placed, but i can guess what it does, because i know html!
In the form where you login you have a <form> code, if you insert "autocomplete=off" it doesn't show the IE6 saved usernames and passwords! So in all <form autocomplete=off> and a name tag and so on, but the autocomplete=off does the trick!
SM doesn't support proprietary tags and attributes. The plugin simply tricks the browser by randomizing the name of both username and password fields.
