Thanks for the reply, Jeremy.  This install is on a Toshiba SG30.  The unit
came with RH8.0 and all the fixins already on it and I am learning Linux as
I go.  This system has a bit of proprietary scripting and an unusual kernel
too: kernel-2.4.18-19.8.0.7tosh.  This is why I don't know what on my system
needs pspell (besides php).  I have a feeling there is ne easy way of
finding out either.

So what is and how do I "do a force no-deps for pspell and then install
aspell"?

Also, "another posability is install from source" install which from source?
aspell, pspell, php or SM?
