In my case, if the password is 'dÃdÃ', Squirrelmail or outlook express in IMAP
session sends this password with the same form. The 4 characters '64 e9 64 e9'
are sent to the same uw-imap server.
The difference is below :
- SM sends the password with the username, example :
A001 LOGIN "jvalot" "dÃdÃ"
- OE sends the username and password not at the same time, example :
0001 LOGIN "jvalot" {4}
+ Ready for argument <---- Server response. Server waits for 4 characters
