I'm using the Turck Mcache accelerator. I forgot to rebuild it after upgrading to php 4.3.10 and as a result apache wouldn't restart. It took me 2 minutes to figure out the problem (in the apache logs) and another 5 to rebuild the accelerator. You may have to look elsewhere for your problem.
