I've setup a test machine with squirrelmail and UW imapd and I have trouble to log in.
I think the problem is UW imapd is compiled and configured by default not to accept cleartext passwds transactions
the box run FreeBSD 5.3 with pam_ldap and nss_ldap to authenticate users onto our main LDAP server, it works if I log in from the console of thru SSH without problem.
Do I have to recompile and reconfigure UW imapd that it accept cleartext passwds to be able to use squirrelmail with it ?
