selinux... it's likely to be the primary cause of your issue here.  FC3
comes with it enabled (possibly by default I'm not sure, not had a chance
to play with it yet).  For those with a security centered brain, it's a
great feature.  For the every day sysadmin, it'll drive you up the wall
for forgetting to type some things sometimes.  Chances are you have
objects incorrectly set on your temporary directory that SquirrelSpell is
attempting to use to write a temp file to.  You should be able to look at
your server logs (not necessarily web server, but "messages" and "kernel"
logs to get more hints.
