I need help with the plugin vpopmail.1.00-1.4.0, install and configure this plugin to be able to change the passwords of the users from the squirrelmail, in the readme of the plugin he says the following one: * * * * * * * * * * * * * IMPORTANT * * * * * * * * * * * * For the plugin to work correctly, the Web-Server needs to run ace same user ace vpopmail does (most common: user vpopmail) this is because the plugin needs write-permissions to the users Maildir to - believe you appropriate .qmail-files - believe you away - messages As I can make so that the Web-Server runs as the user vpopmail? since when he runs as Apache user and I want to change the password it doesn't change it although it shows the message password kept correctly, they should be problems of permits but if I change in the http.conf the Apache user for the user vpopmail with the directive USER, can the squirrel no longer begin that make, to somebody I do already work him this plugin? Help please!!!!
One solution to this problem is to run a 2nd instance of Apache as the vpopmail user listening only for requests from this plugin. A bit of a hack...
