My squirrelmail has gone into hibernation. I'm running squirrelmail 1.50, on OS X Server 10.3.6.
It used to work like a charm, until someone helped me upgrade my system... I can't even recall everything that got updated, but the goal was to install AMAVIS and CLAMAV.
Those installed *great*, I might add... but since then, my squirrelmail hasn't worked.
I've reinstalled squirrelmail 1.50, no help.
When I try to access it, I see the cute little critter on the login page. If I use an invalid username/password, it realizes that and reports as such.
But, when I log in with a *valid* username and password, FireFox gives the http error:
"
The connection to www.igods.com:80 has terminated unexpectedly. Some data may have been transferred.
"
Safari has a slightly different error:
"
Safari can't open the page.
Safari can't open the page "https://www.igods.com:80/webmail/src/webmail.php" because it couldn't establish a secure connection ro the server "www.igods.com"
"
I have no idea why it's trying to hit httpS ... it should be http. I can't find any setting in config.pl that points to httpS.
IE 5.1 reports: " Error Security failure. Data decryption error. "
My webmail is running at:
http://www.igods.com/webmail/
My server settings include:
A. Update IMAP Settings : localhost:143 (cyrus)
B. Update SMTP Settings : localhost:25
Truth be told, I have no idea why /webmail redirects to the webmail... I don't recall setting that up, and I don't see it in my httpd settings for the igods.com domain.
Any ideas?
Maybe Google does.

p.s. any idea why the mass majority of mail that comes in from this list has encoding errors? about 75% does... none of my other mail has that problem.
Be more specific, although this is probably out of our control; you'd need to ask sf.net.
