The problems I whined about in the "me to" mail happened with a Redhat 8, which I do not have the opportunity to test on at the moment. Just tried to provoce it to happen on a machine with simular setup but on Freebsd with all the same applications updated to latest versions and built from source via the ports tree. And it works well, I am not able to reproduce the problem on this installation. Maybe it has something to do with Redhats builds of php or apache on rh8? My imapserver is cyrus-imapd, using indexes for textsearch, and it behaves well on both platforms :-) > > David. > >> No shell accounts >> Gobs of memory (4 gb) >> Server side sorting on >> >> I just have not had a lot of time to debug it.. but I do beleive it >> hangs > on large >> file attachments.. and mostly on my own mail as I am the most abusive >> user > on the >> system out of about 100 accounts (all email).
