thanks for your reply. as you can see on my login page i have an mrtg graph and a welcome message. i'm looking at my src/login.php and can see no references to the mrtg picture file/url or the welcome message. i edited this somewhere when i first installed but i can't figure out what i did. i'm sure it's something simple i'm overlooking. https://lowmips.com/squirrelmail
