Hello,

We are running Squirrelmail 1.4.3a. One of my users has recently complained
that when he goes to the "Folders" menu option. Squirrelmail takes a long
time to load that page, and while it is doing that, no other option can
be selected.

I've determined that it is doing this because it is recursively searching
through the user's home directory searching for files to populate into
the "Unsubscribe/Subscribe" box.

For a user who has, say, 100 files, it takes almost no time at all, but
for a user with 1300 files it takes about 30 seconds. My own account has
approximately 18,000 files in it, and I've been able to verify that
Squirrelmail takes at least several minutes to do this action for me.

We've been able to come up with a couple of courses of action here:

- Disable the "Unsubscribe/Subscribe" functionality: I'd prefer not to
do this, because I don't know how many of my users are using this
  feature

- Search for a bug fix.

I was unable to turn up anything relating to this issue on Google, so
I figured this was the next place to ask. Has anyone experienced this?
And, if so, what is the fix/workaround?

Thank you!
