Maybe I didn't use the correct terminology when I posted.  I am setting
up one machine for someone.  They are setting the rules I am just trying
to get them to work.

It is one server hosting multiple domains.  The owner wants one web
interface for all his various clients to login to.  This is then
authenticated against a mysql database by the local imap server and
their mail is shown.

So I want them to have to enter their full email address since that is
the unique index in the mysql database and since they are all hitting
the same URL to get their mail I cannot use that to find the domain they
have an account with.

And right now it all works except for the fact that something is
stripping out the domain name when someone tries to login.  I don't
think it is squirrelmail now though, because I tried a fetchmail on the
local machine and it didn't seem to pass the domain as well.  So I thank
everyone for their help and I will continue on my path to find out what
is going on.
