FreeBSD does not support US/Pacific time zone. You get UTC time when you set it to US/Pacific. SquirrelMail stores timezone information in locales/timezone.cfg file. Reduce number of supported time zones or ask FreeBSD to add more timezone mappings. SquirrelMail already has two similar bugs (1078202 and 1177067) about it.
