Hi Marc,
1) I am displaying the unseen count on the inbox but not the
total.
2) The left frame is coming up first. The times I got today
were 54 seconds for the left frame and 4 minutes 22 seconds
for the right frame in 1.5.1.
3) In 1.4.3 I am sorting on subject and in 1.5.1 the sort is
on subject and flags. I was sorting on other fields
originally (date and sender I believe). I have noticed a big
improvement in the amount of
time that it takes to open up other folders. One of my
folders with 1500 messages is now opening in about 3 seconds.
The thing that I don't like about not sorting on the
additional fields is that now the only thing showing in my
message list is the subject. I haven't looked into other
settings/plugins that will display those fields without
sorting on them.
4) I haven't installed any plugins in 1.5.1. I do have some
installed in 1.4.3 but not the filter plugin.
Our IMAP server quite frankly sucks so it is probably a safe
bet that the major issue is there. I've had some
conversations with someone else using SM with a PMDF backend
that has similar issues.
