This might be a little better, but that still assumes that it is possible to get a synched dump of all student accounts into such format on a regular basis. Why not do something more realistic like query against whatever your mail system backend is for a list of account names on the fly? I actually *DO* have a working plugin that does this, although the only backend it currently supports is mysql. However, it's still a poor substitute for real list management software if you can manage to get your list into that kind of system. If you want my plugin, let me know.

I just don't have the time to finish all these things up. :) I pushed it to the top of my list, so a beta copy is attached. All the caveats in my email and Bill's follow-up apply. Please get back to me with reports both positive and negative.
