I am new to all this so I am not sure that the problem is with Postfix. That would explain why the other mail > clients didn't find any. I fired up balsa ans checked mail. It reported that the inbox is empty. Same thing with evolution and Squirrelmail. I then logged into the server and started mutt. It reported over 400 new messages.
