I have squirrelmail 1.4.4 running on my slackware 10.1 system using
dovecot as the IMAP server.

I also read the same mail hierarchy locally using mutt.

Yesterday I did a lot of cleaning out of duplicate mails, moving and
merging of folders, etc. using the local mutt.

The first time I opened up squirrelmail today it simply refused to
show folders and the folder options screen was confused too. I just
retried and now I can see folders in the LHS frame but clicking on the
folders option still doesn't work, the browser icon rotates for a
while, then stops, but nothing actually happens.

Another issue is that I can't see all my folders in the LHS frame,
does this have a maximum size and/or is there a limit on the number of
folders you can have? I have some thousands of folders in the
hierarchy, can squirrelmail simply not cope with that sort of number
of folders?

As I said in another posting I really need to be able to limit the
folder frame to showing only one level of the hierarchy to make things
usable.
