You are better off asking on a spam or smtp server list but in any case there 
is no clear answer to your question.

One of the techniques used to determine the likelihood of a given message 
being spam is to see if the forward and reverse name of the sending IP match 
(or if they exist at all).

IIRC the RFCs don't require that the sending system have any DNS at all.

Personally, I would make sure the forward and reverse DNS match.
