Same problem I have -- no time to troubleshoot right now as I'm working on getting Amavis/ClamAv set back up.
Verify you have quota support turned on in your IMAP server and that is being announced in the CAPABILITIES. I did a cursory investigatuion here and they are enabled on my system but still not being used for some reason. I'll have to find a Courier support list to ask around on. Paul's reply to me on the plugins list got me pointed in the right direction as to where to look.
