Because UW IMAP doesn't allow folders to contain both mail and sub folders, we cannot offer users the ability to move mail to folders that are marked as \NoSelect (an imap flag). This means that we have to skip out those folders. When we do this, the folder list is then sorted by the displayed name (if I remember correctly) which would result in a weird sorting order. In theory we could sort by full name order, but this results in some weird indenting and stuff. The other possible solution is to change the kind of display you're using for your folder tree.
