Well, not sure what to tell you -- the attached file is only the
calendar, and not the event. Is the calendar devoid of events except
this mystery one? The Windoze linefeeds probably don't matter. When
the event was printed on your screen, I assume you saw event details for
the event that should be gone but is not...? Looks like it may actually
be a bug in that the event was not fully removed when you deleted it.
Not sure if you'll be able to reproduce how that happened, but you can
probably fix it this time by rooting out the actual event file (if using
file backend) or database rows (if using SQL backend).

Whoops, sorry Paul. I thought the other file was what you
wanted.

No, this calendar has dozens (or more) events in it. I tracked
down the actual event:

BEGIN:VEVENT
UID:sm_cal_evt_20050131T183104Z_stinkweasel_net
SEQUENCE:0
PRIORITY:5
DTSTAMP:20050131T183104Z
CREATED:20050131T183104Z
LAST-MODIFIED:20050131T183104Z
STATUS:
DTSTART:20051117T130000Z
SUMMARY:Colleen's b-day
DESCRIPTION:
COMMENT:
DTEND:20051101T130000Z
RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY\;INTERVAL=1\;COUNT=99
X-SQ-EVTDOMAIN:stinkweasel_net
X-SQ-EVTCREATOR:ellen
X-SQ-EVTLASTUPDATOR:ellen
X-SQ-EVTOWNERS:benny
X-SQ-EVTREADABLEUSERS:
X-SQ-EVTWRITEABLEUSERS:ellen
X-SQ-EVTPARENTCALENDARS:sm_cal_20050123T063110Z_stinkweasel_net
END:VEVENT

I saw the details for the event before I deleted it. When I
deleted it, the details disappeared, but the error continued to
be displayed. Is fixing this as simple as deleting this event
file?

So this event is still in the export despite having been deleted??? The start date appears to come well after the end date, which is odd.

If you'd like to track down _why_, I can leave it. I'd rather
squash a buglet if one exists.

Uh, well... I guess the questions are how this event has managed to stick around after deletion... how the dates got mangled so badly... and what happened when it was supposedly deleted.

You could remove it from the backend and recreate it. You could try to swap the DTSTART and DTEND field values and see if it starts showing up again, and if so, if it will delete correctly this time. Not sure what else...

You could create a new calendar with one event in it, export it, add this event to it, and see if you get the same problems...
