Hi all, Does anybody know of a good solution to groups in the address book? Surely any user with more than a dozen or so addresses is pining for groups... it makes it much easier to send mail to lots of people.
I have tested the abook_group plugin with a mysql backend and have found it's not really what I'm after; it's rather complicated to use (too complicated for most of my users) and has odditties like: you can't just create a group, you have to have an address already saved in (say) your personal address book, and then go into your preferences, address book groups, search for said saved address, *then* you get a chance to create a group and assign the user. But the groups don't appear on the address book page ?!?! So pretty useless. My users are stuck with hand-selecting the people they routinely send mail to. If anyone has a suggestion for better address book groups please let me know. I have googled everywhere, and searched the archives. But even the most recent version of the abook_group plugin was sometime last year.
