Hm, I have done some adjustments to the Squirrelmail. I have removed
everything the user will not need to fiddle with, including this option.
Why do people so like to second guess users? Why not set sensible
defaults for those who will never change them, and let advanced users
tweak things to their desire?
Because my users are aged 7-14, and they love to mess things up. That's the
reason for removing every option they really dont need.
I have removed the code, and I'm not able to recreate the code.
uh?
Yes, stupid me.
1) never "remove", only comment it out
2) always make backups before you do something like that
3) download the source again, you did it once, I assume you can do it again
Is there
a way to modify the required code to change from Sunday to Monday? In
which php-file is the hard code found, and what argument do I have to
change?
4) READ THE DOCS before asking questions. If you had, you'd have found
$week_start_day_default in the configuration file
I agree, but honostly, I have searched in the Docs but I have not found what
you suppose I should have found on my own. Since you most likely know where
it is written, what about telling me the name of the document. Searching
Google for the string $week_start_day_default results in no found topics.
OK, I then tried to put the line into /config/config.pl as I guess you refer
to this file. I then make another guess and enter
$week_start_day_default = 2; no positive result, so i try
$week_start_day_default = 'Monday';. Still no result, so I make a final
guess and enter $week_start_day_default = 'Mon'; Still no success.
I hope you get my point. It is of no help telling only the first part of an
answer. If anyone bother asking stupid questions like mine, please give an
answer which leads to success for the stupid person asking stupid questions.
I'm able to read docs, but I don't think the Squirrelmail documentation is
the best around. Please tell me excactly what to look for and where.
