It don't clobber anything, anyway ;) BTW, I only found out a bit about
Perl recently ...
wrong redirection. It deletes personal address books.
Ah. Actually, it doesn't delete anything in practice (just tried on an
old SM directory); both open(ABOOK, "<$data_dir/$filename") and
open(ABOOK, ">$data_dir/$filename") work without damage, strangely
enough. I see from perlopentut that the redirection *should* be the
other way around, though. Thanks for pointing it out, every bit helps.
