[SM-USERS] How to recover mail that are in folders made by the Squirrelmail.

Hi,

    My problem is that one the users made some folders to organize his mail and when the server had to be reinstalled and changed from a Fedora to Slackware I just couldn´t recover the mail that where on the folders that this user created. I know where they are, ( /home/$user/$folder  ) but how can I "import" this folders back to the squirrelmail keeping the folders structure and the messages.
    I had already copied all the configuration files and the mail on /var/mail folder. The squirrelmail is up and runing withou problems.

My server is runing: Slackware 10.2 kernel 2.4
Postfix: 2.2
Squirrelmail: 1.4.5

Any help is welcome,
