Hello everyone,

We use Cyrus as IMAP server and squirrelmail as mail client. A user asked
to transfer his mail on Cyrus to his gmail account. Anybody have ever
done that? I asked the same question on the Cyrus mailing list, here is a
reply I got:

"They can do that with their imap client. Select-all, and then (depending
on the client,"bounce" or "redirect") should be able to forward the entire
message, attachments and all, and preserve all existing headers (and gain
a few new ones)."

I use squirrelmail myself. But I don't know if it has export feature to
transfer all the existing messages in a bacth mode.

Fetchmail was also suggested. I haven't looked into it yet. But I think
it would be great if this is something that user could accomplish by
themselves. I've searched squirrelmail user list. I saw some discussions
on how to transfer mail between similar mail servers. But I don't think
that's the answer I'm looking for.

Please advice. Thanks in advance for any help.
