Please keep the conversation on the list. IMAP has no move fuctionality. Instead, copy and delete must be used. The SquirrelMail configuration has an option for automatic or manual expunge, which is global for the whole installation. The information about how to disable the trashcan is in the FAQ, which I linked to earlier.
