[SM-USERS] Server not sending but recieving mail

 Dears,

I use fedora core 3, sendmail 8.13.1, dovecot, and squirrelmail 1.4.5 all running on the same machine.

The problem i have is that I am able to recieve emails from outside my network. But I can not send emails from my network.

I have the following error from /var/log/messages

From /var/log/maillog I have the follwoing error messages

Dec 29 12:41:41 poly imap-login: Login: bthole [::ffff:127.0.0.1]
Dec 29 12:41:45 poly imap-login: Login: skumwenda [::ffff:127.0.0.1]
Dec 29 12:42:11 poly last message repeated 5 times

what could the problem be?

squirrelmail is configured with the right ports and imap and smtp server addresses

dovecot is configured to allow imap
