In standard SquirrelMail version $username contains username that is used
to log into imap server. Standard SquirrelMail version supports only one
IMAP server. One IMAP server can't use same login name for two different
accounts. Listed plugins do not add multiple IMAP servers support. If you
have modified SquirrelMail source, revert your modifications or show them.

Using SquirrelMail with PHP 4.4.1 is not a better option. Using PHP 4.4.1
is not an option. This PHP version is hosed. If php is not fixed,
SquirrelMail has problems in php based sorting and Japanese translation.
It is possible that security fixes broke other things too. Haven't checked
all 4.4.1 issues in bugs.php.net.
