On a brand new server, brand new install of:

Fedora Core 4
Apache 2.0.54
PHP 5.0.5-2.1

When there is no mail in a users mailbox, then the "This Folder Is Empty" message is displayed.

When I send an e-mail to a user from within the same server (via ssh as root or any other user) (not via squirrelmail) then the message dispalys properly in squirrelmail and I can click on it and read it.

When I send an e-mail from within squirrelmail to any user - then their mailbox does not display any messages - just the top links.
Same thing happens when I send an e-mail from a remote computer via outlook or outlook express - the right side looks like it does not finish loading.

When I view the sorce of the right frame, it shows:

<snip>
<tr bgcolor="#FFFFFF">

<td align="left">

<a href="">Compose</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;
<a href="">Addresses</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;
<a href="">Folders</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;
<a href="">Options</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;
<a href="">Search</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;
<a href="">Help</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;
      </td>
<td align="right">

<a href=""http://www.squirrelmail.org/">http://www.squirrelmail.org/" target="_blank">SquirrelMail</a></td>
   </tr>
</table><br>
<end of source displayed>

Anyone else run into this problem.  anyone know of a solution?

I have completely remove squirrelmail, and reinstalled and configured it - same problem.  I have deleted a user and re-entered them - still same problem.

Thanks for your help.
