Thanx Leon,

Ok, very well. But how do I change the way SM creates folders?
It currently creates folders IN the inbox or named after the inbox. Lets
say: 'inbox.personal files'
You end up with a list of folders in /var/spool/imap/%u all called
inbox.somethingIt would be nice to have folders next to the inbox and
folders IN the inbox and so on...

I am trying to find a way to convince Cyrus to store the local mail
folders in /home/profiles/%u/mail rather than in /var/spool/imap/%u so
it would be nice to have a clear view of the mailfolders in there

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

hi,
=3D20
above mentioned configuration does not seem to work "out of the box"
=3D20
Suse wants to use LDAP: thats ok with me
also Postfix.. shame.. i liked Sendmail better..=3D20
courier IMap or UW imap..Or cyrus.. waht the heck.. why nit dovecot..
=3D20
So I end up (am stuck with) with this config.. (cut to the chase)
=3D20
SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9
=3D20
Postfix (2.1.1-1.4
Cyrus Imap 2.2.3-83.5
OpenLDAP 2.2.6-37.19
and of course latest SM
=3D20
I allready set the folder options straight(INBOX.Trash to Inbox/Trash)
and that seems to work just fine.=3D20
But the special folders
=3D20
inbox/trash
inbox/sent
inbox/drafts
=3D20
do not seem to be recognized by SM
So drafts do not end up in the draft folder, sent mail doen't... you
know the drill!
=3D20
when I try to create a personal folder.. It does not seem to work..
(wether as subfolder to the inbox or not)
I tried a mailcli=3DEBnt (thunderbird and Outlook express) and they =
don't
seem to matter.. it works..=3D20
=3D20
So the general config (of the mailserver) is Ok.=3D20
=3D20
- > but the special folders are not seen as special folders (not even in
mentioned mail clients)

=3D20
I am not very hapy with the way this config handles my mail.. I would
rather have a named inbox folder (which can hold subfolders) and all
special and personal folders next to it.. (suggestions?)
=3D20
Thanx for the help so far ;-)
=3D20
