Apparently, I had incorrect permissions on /usr/local/squirrelmail/data.
I have SquirrelMail setup to be accessed like this: $ cd /mnt/websites/mysite.com $ ln -s /usr/local/squirrelmail webmail $ mkdir data $ chmod 777 data $ This resulted in a data dir, with correct permissions, in /mnt/websites/mysite.com and a data dir in /usr/local/squirrelmail (where SquirrelMail is installed) with 775 permissions. I no longer get the messages. Thanks! Peace...
