Hi there

Please provide information about:
* used php version

All of them hehe...  but at this moment  4.4.2

* enabled php extensions

Just mysql

* mysql client and server versions

at this moment 5.0.18 but i tried with 4.1

* php include_path

/usr/local/php

* used Pear DB library version.

The latest  from pear.php.net

Another point is that if I change the password to a wrong one, it doesn't change the message. I guess that it means that it's not getting to the db
