I found the solution ;-)
just comment out all onmouseover and onmouseout strings in the plugins/
image_buttons/functions.php file like this.
/* "border:1px;padding:1px;\" onmouseover=\"" . */
"javascript:this.style.backgroundColor='$color[9]';" .
"this.style.border='1px solid $color[8]';" .
/* "this.style.padding='1px';\" onmouseout=
\"javascript:" . */
