ubuntu, citadel, apache, squirrelmail

Hello,

I tried to generate a personal keyring and received the message:
There was a problem with your request
    * This action can only be performed on a secure connection (https).
Please change the 'http' in your address bar to 'https', and try again.

so i tried https://localhost/squirrelmail/src/login

An error occurred during a connection to localhost

SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

(Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)

Do I need to setup apache for ssl--Any suggestions?
