/etc/maildrop
or wherever you told maildrop its configuration files are by using
--with-etcdir when configuring and compiling it. For example:
--with-etcdir=/etc/maildrop

As far as I remember, mailbot is part of the maildrop installation, so
I don't know what you are doing here, trying to install it separately.
