All,
I am using DadaMail to deliver a newsletter to an opt-in list. I design the
newsletter in XHTML. I post it to my server and I point to it with Dada.
When I send a test message and open it in most mail programs in which I test
(Thunderbird, Outlook, Yahoo, AOL), I get a black background -- as the page
has been coded. However, when I open the e-mail in Squirrelmail... and the
setting for "automatically open as HTML" is checked, the background of the
e-mail turns white - even though the e-mail points to a web page sitting on
my server which is coded with a black background.
Can someone tell me how to ensure that e-mails being opened as HTML in
Squirrelmail, show up with the background color that I coded (in this case
black)? The funny thing is, when "automatically open as HTML" isn't checked,
and I download the file and open it, I get the correct black background. But
not when the "automatically open as HTML" is checked.
I'd appreciate your prompt help.
Thanks!
Laurie
