[SM-USERS] Many notice messages on new install concerning mb_xyz

Paul,

        I have a new install of squirrelmail 1.5 svn on archlinux and accessing 
it I
get a lot of notice messages concerning mb_<function name>. I know this is
something I'm screwing up, but I can't figure out where the mb_xyz setting is
that is causing the problem (httpd.conf or php.ini)?? I have compared the
php.ini mb setting against a working copy and it is the same. Further the
mbstring setting as returned by phpinfo() are also exactly the same.

        I've picked around a little and I'm still scratching my head. Any 
ideas? (this
is on archlinux)
