Every time I run /webmail/src/configtest.php from my Web root under Apache
2.2.11 (Windows XP 5.1, build 2600, SP3, PHP 5.2.9, SquirrelMail 1.5.2 SVN
checkout from 15 April 2009, configuration script run with ActiveState
ActivePerl 5.8.3, no plugins active in config.php), I keep getting this
output:

My mail server is HMailServer version 5.1, and it is listening on port 25,
which I have set in config. It also requires plaintext login, which I set
in Server Settings>SMTP Settings>SMTP Authentication. SquirrelMail and
HMailServer are located on the same system. This is very similar to the
previous question I had (see the message entitled "Max Execution Time
Exceeded in configtest.php"). My SMTP authentication credentials are
correct--I can send and receive e-mail using Microsoft Outlook 2003 from the
account (which is postmaster) that I am using for SquirrelMail
authentication. Is there perhaps a problem with the text that SquirrelMail
uses to determine whether a client has successfully connected to the SMTP
server (retrieved by fgets after trying to use fsockopen to open a
communication socket)? If it helps, HMailServer is an ESMTP-capable server.
I mean, does HMailServer perhaps use a different welcome message than, say,
CourierImap? I really would like to get this issue resolved, and yes, I can
telnet to my SMTP server on port 25. Or...could the problem be that my IMAP
authentication settings have not been set yet? If so, where should I set
those?
