Dear Mr. Ramchandran,
The issue may not be related to Squirrel Mail per se. In case you have the
access to the logfile of your smtp server, a close examination of the same
might give you some insight. Sometimes an error in the address book (if at
all you are trying to send the mail by selecting the recipient from the
address book) leads to this type of error. Have you tried to send the mail
directly using telnet commands?

I would be grateful if anyone can help me out in sorting out a problem which

I have a client email address with user'n...@domain.com
<mailto:user%27n...@domain.com> . This email i can receive mails but when i
reply to this i get a Mail delivery failure notification saying Bad Syntax
in address. Can you please tell me, where i should make an entry on my Qmail
server, which can solve this problem. This receipient is a very important
client of ours and regular communication is required from both sides. The
same email is getting delivered through Gmail or yahoo. But thru my servers
running Centos with Qmail, not able to send any mails to this recipient
email address.
