Character set tables in sqwebmail have been updated to Unicode 3.1.1. Sqwebmail uses character set mappings based on data from www.unicode.org. Rev 3.1.1 has a completely new table for big5 and gb2312 charsets. Please test the new charsets if you are using a Chinese browser, as follows: * Compile sqwebmail with the --enable-unicode option. * After installing, replace /usr/local/share/sqwebmail/html/en-us/CHARSET with "utf-8". * Use your utf-8 - capable browser to read some mail that uses big5 or gb2312 encoding.
