in the INSTALL doc, it states: 

  The  typical  sequence of commands to compile and install SqWebMail is
  as follows: 

 ./configure [options - see below]
 make configure-check
 make
 make check
 make install-strip       # Do a make install if this doesn't work
 make install-configure   # Install configuration files. 


further below, where the steps are detailed, it states: 

  Run  make  to compile SqWebMail, and make install-strip to install the
  files.  As  mentioned  before,  use make install if make install-strip
  doesn't work. 

with no mention of the 'make check' step. as i said, a minor omission. i 
think also - in terms of step-by-step clarity, the line: 

  Before   running  make  install-strip,  verify  the  contents  of  the
  sendit.sh  script,  and  make  sure  that  your mail transfer agent is
  corrently invoked. 

should probably be moved above the instructions for 'make install-strip', 
rather than after it. also a minor nit.
