in the INSTALL doc, it states:
The typical sequence of commands to compile and install SqWebMail is as follows: ./configure [options - see below] make configure-check make make check make install-strip # Do a make install if this doesn't work make install-configure # Install configuration files. further below, where the steps are detailed, it states: Run make to compile SqWebMail, and make install-strip to install the files. As mentioned before, use make install if make install-strip doesn't work. with no mention of the 'make check' step. as i said, a minor omission. i think also - in terms of step-by-step clarity, the line: Before running make install-strip, verify the contents of the sendit.sh script, and make sure that your mail transfer agent is corrently invoked. should probably be moved above the instructions for 'make install-strip', rather than after it. also a minor nit. --------------------------------- Paul Theodoropoulos [EMAIL PROTECTED] Senior Unix Systems Administrator Syntactically Subversive Services, Inc. http://www.anastrophe.com Downtime Is Not An Option
