Stephane, File authdaemonrc must contain the vchkpw authentication module.
When compiling you can (and should) specify the vchkpw module (and possibly disable other modules). If you have vpopmail installed the configuration program should find it and include the vckkpw module - you do not have to enter the vpopmail installation path. You should then be able to log into the system entering mail acount and domain (e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED]).
