IMHO, it would be nice to see these changes incorporated into the distro.
Especially if they don't hinder viewing from other browsers.
Sam? What do you think?
I'd like to see a sample patch for a sample html template, diffed against
the current release (the crap with 0xA0 hard spaces, which were put there by
an old version of Amaya, have been fixed several releases ago).
I don't want anyone to go through the trouble of trying to fix all the
files, and have me reject it because of my legendary capricious nature.
Fix one file. Let me kick the tires. If it looks good, send me a patch for
two or three more HTML templates. And if that looks good too, then do the
rest.
Ok, I can probably start this in the next few days. Do I have to worry
about another new release of the templates coming out during this process if
it ends up taking a couple weeks?
I don't think anything is going to happen for a few weeks.
Will it work if I apply the templates from the current release to my 3.3.1
install to avoid doing the full install right now?
Probably not. There have been changes since then.
Oh, and use diff -C or diff -U. A plain diff is just plain worthless.
I'll be sure to use -C or -U when I submit the next piece of information.
But what do you need for a patch - do you need a diff -e for that? Sorry I
diff -C or diff -U.
