where/how do we setup sqwebmail using a users' real name, not the email address?
i.e. if i get an email from a sqwebmail/courier user, it shows "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" when what i want to display is "david liu"
is it in userdb?

If you're using userdb, then that's where it comes from. The attribute name is 'gecos'.

i went ahead and: /usr/lib/courier/sbin/userdb [EMAIL PROTECTED] set gecos=DAVE /usr/lib/courier/sbin/makeuserdb

sure enough it's in userdb but it doesn't do what i want:

in sqwebmail's "create message" page, the from: field currently only displays "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" but i guess what i'm looking for is "'david liu' <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>" so that when i send the email, "david liu" is displayed in the user's from/to field in the email app

what am i missing here? (if i manually change the field in the "create message" page of sqwebmail as i've described above, it works the way i want, but making changes in userdb doesn't seem to do it)

thanks!
dave
