I am receiving an s_connect failed connection
refused problem on my existing sqwebmail server. The sqwebmail server
authenticates against an ldap and the ldap is up and running. I haven't made any
modifications to sqwebmail recently and sqwebmail was working before. I know I
had a problem before with s_connect failed Permission Denied, but that was due
to the sqwebmail executable itself not having privileges to change as bin to
write to the /var/cache/sqwebmail directory.
sqwebmail has root:root for its file permissions
and /var/cache/sqwebmail has bin:root permissions.
I have checked the above and it remains to have the same settings. There was a previous post back in 2002 about this same error message and a
fix from Sam was to add a LDAP_MAILROOT "/." without the quotes. I tried that
but to no avail. Is there anyway to fix this problem?
