If you install courier-imap by itself, then it will get its own independent set of authdaemons (which are started/stopped when you start/stop courier-imap itself). This is how I run it - it's quite happy. Slots in the process table are cheap, after all. But if you really want to share them, then you can probably just remove courier-imap's authdaemon socket and symlink it to sqwebmail's. Regards, Brian.
